Rice Husk-based, Biobased Compounds

Rice Husk-based, Biomass-based, Biobased compounds iGreen is a 40 w.-% Rice Husk reinforced, durable Poylpropylene (PP) compound. They can be used alone or masterbatch material can be blended with virgin PP during part manufacturing. Using Biobased Resin iGreen helps reduce both fossil fuel-based plastic content and greenhouse gas generation.

Rice Husk is the outer protective layer of rice grains which are separated during the milling process. It is a yellowish colour and has a convex shape. It is slightly larger than a grain of rice.
Biobased: The term ‘biobased’ means that the material or product is (partly) derived from biomass (plants, agricultural by-products, agricultural waste, etc.).
